Melanie Willis

Melanie Willis was raised in West Chester Township, Ohio, and currently resides in Liberty Township, Ohio. She married her husband, Patrick, in 2012, and they have four children-Parker, Mason, Hayley, and Beckett-and two dogs. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in communications and is currently an executive assistant in Cincinnati.
About
Parker's & Mason's Stories
Melanie always dreamed of writing a book, and one night her oldest son, Parker, asked her to make up a bedtime story, so together they did. Each night, the two of them added fun details and thus created this perfect story.
When Mason heard Parker's story, he wanted one of his own. Melanie and Mason soon started telling the story of Giant Town, which picks up where Candy Town left off.
Our Series
October 2021
Candy Town was just a bedtime story that started in 2017. In 2019 illustrations were added, to make it come alive. In 2020 we started speaking to a publisher. In the fall of 2021, our first book was available for purchase!
Currently we are releasing our second book in the series, Giant Town. Mason is the star of the sequel, copies available now!
